Vicki Field serves as your personal “Field Guide”

As soon as you sit down with Vicki as your coach, you’ll find yourself catching the creative spark and motivation you need to explore new directions or life changes, set or reset your priorities, and move forward in a clear and positive way.  Vicki’s expertise flows from the 25+ years she has served as a certified coach and Director of Learning and Development, working with over a thousand individuals and teams in over 300 organizations including: Duke University Medical Center, Progress Energy, UNC’s Friday Center for Continuing Education, Interfaith Council for Social Services, The American Kennel Club, LL Bean, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Humana’s Active Outlook Program, Home Instead Senior Care, Comcast, and The American Lung Association.

And, you’ll experience that same spark in her one-of-a-kind workshops where you will connect with others to expand possibilities, exchange ideas, stretch your thinking, and gain the support you need to take action and move your life forward in a positive way–whatever the topic!

If Vicki’s approach feels particularly authentic, it’s because she has navigated through her own life changes from the start of her career. Her first major passage point came in the 70’s as she floundered to create a new post-divorce life. Drawing on her psychology degree, workshop experiences, and ongoing research, Vicki pioneered a career/life-planning course called “New Directions”. From here she developed a series of innovative personal and professional development programs, and was soon working with individuals, groups, and organizations around the country. Today she continues to spread that creative spark to individuals in all aspects of her work with Passage Points.

Vicki loves living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her husband, David. Her oldest son Christopher Fitzgerald is married to Jessica Stone. They live in NYC with young sons,  Charlie and Emmett. Christopher was recently nominated for a Tony Award, while Jessica is receiving raves as the voice of Mrs. Sparkle Nose in upcoming segments on Sesame Street. Vicki and David’s youngest son, Alex, a recent UNC grad, is a Junior Associate in Health Policy at Burness Communications, a PR firm in Washington DC that helps foundations seeking social change to improve the human condition.
