Who Works With You As A Coach And What Are The Results?

I am dedicated to helping you move from where you are now, to where you want to be—whether that means navigating a new work or life direction, expanding new connections, handling the dips and curves of midlife, recharging your creative energy, or reinventing ways to enhance your well being in mind, body and spirit.

People who work with me are in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s from all walks of life. They are seeking professional guidance to move forward to make positive change. I work with people seeking to take steps that lead to a new and improved sense of what I call the Three S’s—Significance, Satisfaction, and Support at midlife & beyond.

Some clients take bold steps in navigating a life or work change as a result of coaching. Others tackle smaller life-changing goals: getting clear on priorities, brainstorming solutions to interpersonal problems, mapping out new life or work balance, staying fit and having fun. I feel a great sense of gratitude and celebration as clients experience increased life satisfaction, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of well being and purpose–with greater sense of control and calm.

How Does Coaching Work?

We start with an initial conversation to discuss your questions, your overall goals, and how one-to-one or group coaching might be beneficial in your situation. One-to-one coaching fees vary depending on the length and frequency of scheduled sessions. Every person’s needs are different. Most coaching arrangements, whether on the phone, or in-person, include unlimited email contact with me. The coaching process generally takes 3-6 months. Most clients prefer to meet once or twice a month. Once you’re ready to go, we customize a coaching schedule to meet your needs. Each session lasts 60 minutes. You can pay by the session ($100 ) or take advantage of my special coaching package (4 sessions for $360).

What Happens During Our Coaching Sessions?

Using a structured, yet creative process I help you to zero in on changes you want to make or goals and breakthroughs you seek. I ask discovery questions that require more than a quick “off-the-top-of-the-head” answer. I listen, make observations, offer insight, and collaborate on possibilities. We discuss options, strategies for change, and tactics to overcome obstacles. At the end of each upbeat session, you will take away specific follow up ideas and assignments AND a revived spark of possibility. Most clients are surprised by how much is accomplished in each session!

What Happens Between Sessions?

Ideas and action steps yield valuable results between sessions. I will guide you to:

  1. Become an observer— reflect and watch for opportunities to apply a new perspective or insight
  2. Develop clear expectations and vision
  3. Use Field Guide Worksheets and practical assignments to help you create the results you are looking for.
